Antakya: From Yesterday to Today

The Quincentennial Foundation Museum of Turkish Jews, Istanbul · Parallel event, Istanbul Biennial

After the earthquake, Liza returned to Antakya and, from the data and visual material she gathered there, built a photography exhibition — on the edge of destruction, in the footsteps of Antakya.

The work holds trauma and resilience together: creation and destruction, the memory of a lost Jewish community, and the intercultural interaction that remains.
